It's Norwich, not Norwalk, but no matter.
All the people from Norwiches and Norfolks around the globe are invited to the Norwich/Norfolk Family World Gathering, part of the 350th celebration in Norwich, Connecticut, this summer.
The city, dubbed the Rose of New England," sits atop hills at the confluence of three rivers, the Yantic, Shetucket and Thames and was founded in 1659 on land purchased from the local Native American tribe, the Mohegans.
The Family World Gathering has taken place five times (last year in New Norfolk, Tasmania).
Visitors will explore the city, nearby towns, and visit sites such as Mystic Seaport.
