Matterport, a developer of 3D scanning technology, has raised $5.6 million in Series A financing.
The company is backed by Lux Capital, which led the round, with Felicis Ventures, Red Swan Ventures, Greylock, and Qualcomm Ventures.
Matterport uses a patented camera unit to make it "easy for anyone to capture 3D images of real-world spaces and share them online."
