Joseph Albanese has been promoted to vice president of food and beverage at Foxwoods Resort Casino, part of Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprises.
Albanese has a decade of food and beverage operations experience in the resort casino industry and joined the company in 2008 as director of beverage operations, responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage operations for the property’s 30-plus dining, lounge, club, and bar venues. In 2010, he was promoted to acting vice president of Foxwoods food and beverage.
Prior to joining Foxwoods, he served as director of beverage operations for Gaylord Entertainment Company in Nashville; director of beverage operations for Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas; and director of beverage operations for MGM Mirage in Las Vegas. He received his sommelier training from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
He will report to Barry Cregan, senior vice president of resort operations.
