Anthony Arsenault, CPA, has been named chief financial officer (CFO) of Bankers’ Bank Northeast, according to an announcement made by Peter Sposito, president and CEO.Arsenault reports to Allen Nielsen, executive vice president, who is current CFO and will continue with bank operations and lending responsibilities.
Arsenault has more than 19 years of banking experience, which includes finance audit, trust operations, asset liability management and regulatory compliance.
Arsenault began his career in 1990 as an internal auditor with Shawmut Bank. In 1995 he joined Advest Bank and Trust Company as senior auditor and three years later became trust operations manager.
In 2001 Arsenault went to InsurBanc as senior vice president and treasurer where he was responsible for establishing various policies, procedures, controls and workflows for the bank. In addition, he implemented asset/liability management models and managed financial reporting, general accounting and corporate administration. In 2003 he was elected InsurBanc’s CFO.
Arsenault lives in East Hampton.
