Alteris Renewables Inc., a solar designer and power systems installer in Wilton has acquired Renewable Power Systems LLC, a solar installation company based in New York.
Alteris has installed at more than 2,200 photovoltaic, solar electric, solar electric and wind projects in its 30-year history.
The company has offices in six states: Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island.
Recently, Alteris Renewables installed a state-of-the-art 217KW solar power array at Siemon corporate headquarters North American Manufacturing Campus in Watertown.
The solar installation was designed and installed by Alteris, and supported in part by a grant from the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.
Other Connecticut companies using an Alteris system include Fuss & O’Neill in Manchester; L.C. Doane Company of Ivoryton; and Tri Town Precision Plastics Inc. of Deep River.
