Professor Navarun Gupta, who teaches electrical engineering at the University of Bridgeport School of Engineering, was elected chairman-elect of the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) Northeast Zone at the group’s regional conference, held at the university.
Gupta served co-chairman of the conference that drew a crowd of 350 professors, engineers and students to the university campus.
The ASEE region encompasses the northeastern quadrant of the United States and eastern Canada.
The event drew participants from as far away as Qatar University and Kangwon National University in South Korea.
