Gladis To Serve On NSF Tech Panel

The National Science Foundation has selected Peter Gladis, director of marketing at RSL Fiber Systems in Connecticut, to serve on a select panel of technology industry and organizational leaders who will evaluate the promise of cutting-edge research and development work proposed by small, innovative companies across the country.

Panel members will perform this work on behalf of the federally-funded Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, coordinated by the Small Business Administration.

The panel convenes Monday, March 28, at NSF’s headquarters in Arlington, VA.

Gladis served on a Phase I panel in 2010 and has more than 30 years of industrial and high-tech marketing work experience. He spent 25 years with GE managing the marketing and sales of a wide variety of products and equipment and worked as a marketing leader for companies such as Universal Voltronics, SpecTran Fiber Optics and Ultra Electronics-DNE Technologies. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University.
