The 16th Annual Wallace Stevens Birthday Bash happens Saturday, Nov. 5, 6:30 p.m., at the Hartford Public Library. Robert Pinsky, former U.S. poet laureate, and author of the recently published Selected Poems, will read from Wallace Stevens and his own works.
A reception serving wine and hors d'oeuvres; after the presentation there will be a book signing, birthday cake and champagne.
