More than $17 million in competitive awards from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) has been awarded to the Northeast Cyberinfrastructure Consortium (NECC), to build a high-speed fiber optic network across five states, linking universities and research institutions.
The NECC is a consortium of the following states: Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Delaware.
